Been kickin' around the idea of doing the
California International Marathon, even said out loud that I was gonna do it. So if I'm gonna, I need to get going on the training schedule.
Jeff Galloway's program for running a 3:45 marathon has me starting at week 9...I'm not sure my running legs are really at week 9, but 3:45 is probably an utterly unrealistic time for me anyway so why not just pretend that the past 8 weeks have prepared me to jump in right where I am. Save all the disillusionment for the race itself, I always say. It's more dramatic that way.
