"Beauty confronts us with the requirement that we place ourselves among...the redeemers, the leaders in the protection of life. Once you have seen the bush on fire, you are not going to get out of the assignment unless you close your eyes to the beauty.... [You] either have to close your eyes or go back to Egypt and set the people free." - Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker, "Rising to the Challenge of Our Times"

Possibly in poor taste, considering recent events, but it's true...

Smoke does get in your eyes. I've discovered online karaoke. This is more or less how the new lead singer for Boston was discovered, so I'm hoping Richard Carpenter or the Platters (do they need a singer?) will call me one of these days.

Same here!

I started to record something but will have to practice a bit before it's fit for public listening. :)

Can you key it up a step and a half?
It sounded really good, but I still think your voice shines just a little bit higher!

At many of the better karaoke establishments, they can raise and lower the pitch of the song. Unfortunately Sims on Stage currently lacks that capability. There's also the problem of the very last note not going out of my chest voice range...it needs to have force behind it. Though I'm sure I could still belt it at least a whole step higher.
