"Beauty confronts us with the requirement that we place ourselves among...the redeemers, the leaders in the protection of life. Once you have seen the bush on fire, you are not going to get out of the assignment unless you close your eyes to the beauty.... [You] either have to close your eyes or go back to Egypt and set the people free." - Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker, "Rising to the Challenge of Our Times"

The most awesome jersey ever, and on sale!!

Do you ever walk into a store thinking you're looking for one thing, but then you see something else that is clearly the reason destiny brought you to that place at that moment?

For the record my skin is not oompa-loompa orange. I'm just lazy about taking pictures with my cellphone and I think it was overwhelmed by all the sushi polka-dots, so it turned me a nice shade of Uni. Mmmm.

ebi, maguro, sake, oh my! That shirt would make me hungry. This post is interesting because I ate sushi yesterday... Maybe the cosmic sushi forces had aligned for a day. Yum.

Could I find one with cheese? I am here at the lounge at JFK Airport and just had several generous slices of brie. It is growing on me. Keep in mind, I do not speak French and have been a feta, queso, blue cheese and sharp cheddar person. Can I admit, as everyone knows, I like fake cheese even in the form of Kraft Singles?

If not a cheese shirt how about one featuring Wallace and Grommet? Could you inquire?

Ha. Kraft Singles are highbrow compared to the can of Easy Cheese I used to keep in the glovebox of my truck.

lol - I bought some Easy Cheese at the Marriott in Hawaii. Not quite the glovebox, but still handy.
