Kato has packed himself and he's ready to go. I told him it was a little early though - and anyway I'd originally planned to put books in that box. He's still got at least a couple weeks before he has to endure 90 minutes or so in a car. On Thursday I was offered, and accepted, a job down in Sacramento with the Department of Community Services and Development. Feels like it will be a really good step. Also a really big one. Stay tuned.

And, last night I had a VERY real-ish dream that you and I went on a trip to Italy and Ireland (something about the "I's"?). One of those dreams where you wake up and are confused about whether reality is real or not.
Hmmm. Italy hasn't especially called to me - though I've nothing against it. Ireland, though - I definitely want to go there. And Iceland. Maybe I could write a book, 'Eat, Drink, Freeze.'
We all have Emily on the brain.
Though my dream, when I woke up was obviously not real. :)
